In the summer of 2005, Sharon took a fascinating trip to Ecuador, collecting stories from shamans and healers in the rainforest and the Andes. Now she's ready to share her tales with your students.

Constellation Myths • Trickster Tales • Origin and Creation Myths

For 3rd and 4th graders, Sharon will tell Ecuadorian trickster tales, comparing and contrasting them with Anansi, Br'er Rabbit, Coyote, and Iktomi stories to go with your curriculum standards.

For 7th and 8th graders, Sharon will tell epic tales of twin heroes—complex stories of quests and tasks—from the Quechua of Ecuador and the Sioux of North America.

• Creating constellation myths
